About the role

  • Sales Representative for IBC Return Services consulting customers on container returns and business development in West and Central Germany. Responsibilities include market analysis and cultivation of client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Professional, personal consultation for customers and IBC end users
  • Advising on all requirements for the return of emptied containers as part of the SCHÜTZ TICKET service
  • Developing and maintaining IBC returners in postal code areas 3, 4 and 5
  • Presenting the company directly at customer sites or at our headquarters in Selters
  • Preparing incentive offers for potential returners
  • Actively prospecting and identifying new business relationships and acquiring new return partners and customers for packaging returns
  • Independently planning and coordinating customer visit appointments and cycles
  • Preparing market analyses and conducting continuous market monitoring
  • Monitoring calculation and billing systems, KPIs, and providing regular reports on completed visits and market changes
  • Compiling comprehensive overviews of business development, including new customers, lost customers and potentials

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training, several years of professional experience, a degree in business administration or comparable further training
  • Experience with logistics processes and in direct customer support
  • Technical understanding for complex/product solutions that require explanation
  • Confident use of MS Office programs and CRM systems
  • Self-responsible, independent and team-oriented way of working
  • Strong communication skills as well as negotiation and sales aptitude
