About the role

  • Adviser Training and Transition Manager facilitating training for financial advisers at Schroders Personal Wealth. Engaging learning experiences and hands-on support for new advisers in their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging and impactful training sessions across induction, soft skills, technical advice, process, and systems—both virtually and face-to-face.
  • Deliver high-quality induction courses and ongoing development sessions that support advisers from onboarding through to competent adviser status.
  • Willing to travel across the country to support training delivery.
  • Engage advisers prior to induction to build foundational knowledge, confidence, and readiness.
  • Provide early-stage coaching, including call structure, systems orientation, and expectation setting.
  • Deliver structured and ad-hoc coaching through observation to accelerate capability.
  • Capture and analyse trends, challenges, and adviser feedback from the field, using these insights to influence induction training and onboarding processes.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, client-centricity, and high performance throughout training and transition activities.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in training delivery within Wealth Management.
  • Level 4 (Financial Planning) qualification essential, Chartered status desirable.
  • Experience of coaching or supporting financial advisers in early career or pre-CAS stages.
  • Coaching qualification desirable.
  • Excellent facilitation skills across induction, soft skills, technical, and systems training—both in-person and virtually.
  • Strong coaching skills to support advisers one-to-one in the field.
  • Confidence in observing, analysing, and providing feedback on adviser performance.
  • Ability to support advisers with both technical and administrative aspects of their role.
