Senior Specialist responsible for Finance and Controlling processes across Asia Pacific at Schaeffler. Engaging in data analysis, budget planning, and supporting regional financial teams.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assigned regional Finance & Controlling processes within Asia Pacific (for example – but not limited to – Overhead, Plants, Operations, Investment etc.)
Data analysis and reporting on various levels, e.g. Country, Region, Subregion, Plant
Coordination, preparation and implementation of budget planning and forecasting processes and corresponding quality assurance
Initiate and support development of action plans, monitor their implementation and support subregional / local controlling teams (e.g. regarding production cost deviations)
Alignment for production cost development with Divisional Controlling
Know-how transfer regarding Finance and Operations / Plant Controlling fundamentals as well as application of corresponding tools
Represent Finance vis-à-vis key business partners (e.g. Operations / SCM)
Support and attend relevant plant reviews
Support for optimization of cost / benefit relation and various key figures
Support management with ad-hoc requests (e.g. Board Meeting presentation material)
Join Shared Service project and support in Setting up hub function to centralize cost accounting tasks for the region (e.g. master data management , alternate authorization hierarchies for functional heads, regional projects for special topics, service desk function, training documents etc
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above in economics or business administration or any comparable degree in any other related Finance field
Proficiency in English; good at communication, cooperative, ability to work autonomously and independent, intercultural sensitivity
Strategic approach considering impacts on local, regional and global level likewise
Thinking outside of the box, challenging status quo and understanding the importance of change management within Asia Pacific
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
Min 8-10 years of professional experience in Finance, including experience in Plant/ Operations Controlling
