About the role

  • Analyst developing new concepts and technologies to enhance performance across the business. Engaging in needs assessment, solution analysis, and innovative project management in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new concepts and ways of working as well as novel ways of using new or existing technologies to improve performance across our business.
  • Explore issues or needs, establishing potential causes and barriers as well as related issues.
  • Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
  • Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions.
  • Execute development plan for a new product or service, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating to project stakeholders.
  • Provide the means (e.g., research, ideas, solutions) to prototype innovation business cases with the potential to shape the innovation strategy, pipeline, and road map.
  • Contribute information to business cases to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment.
  • Deliver small project workstreams, carrying out specified project activities within defined time and quality parameters and ensuring adherence to the prescribed project management methodology.
  • Contribute to the management and filing of Intellectual Property applications for patents to protect the team's research work.
  • Support a culture of innovation by contributing to solutions that boost creativity, innovation, and collaboration, such as idea generation platforms, jam sessions, and hackathons.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
