Responsibilities
Support for the Organic Social Media and Content Creators teams in day-to-day operations
Research topics and content (e.g., on children’s rights) for social media posts
Research content creators and influencers for content collaborations
Develop creative content concepts for our social media presence
Content creation for our organic social media channels: designing graphics, writing copy, video production, photo and video editing
Support in analyzing social media posts, including content collaborations
Create or edit PowerPoint presentations (German/English)
Various translation tasks (German–English)
Preparation and follow-up for internal and external meetings (e.g., taking minutes), such as project meetings or video shoots
Requirements
Enrollment with at least 24 months remaining, ideally studying Communications, Political Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, Economics, or Media Design
Ideally some first experience in creating content for social media channels and an interest in working on children’s rights
Proficient in Canva, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with video editing software such as Premiere is a plus
Strong enthusiasm for visually presenting our topics using photos, graphics, and icons
Strong writing skills and the ability to condense complex content into concise, audience-appropriate formats
A good sense for identifying relevant content creators and influencers, as well as social media trends
Structured working style, coordination and organizational skills
High degree of reliability, care, and attention to detail, as well as an affinity for numbers and facts
Team player
German and English skills at native-speaker level
Good written communication
Interest in current global events and national news
