About the role

  • Digital Account Manager responsible for revenue growth within assigned customer groups for Sartorius Stedim Biotech. Requires scientific degree and sales experience in biopharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

  • You take responsibility for the proactive sales of the bioprocess portfolio
  • Using available sales tools such as MS Teams and Salesforce CRM to support outreach and account development
  • You ensure that growth targets and objectives are met
  • Identifying customer needs, developing potential accounts within the assigned target segments and maintaining reliable partnerships with distributors and dealers
  • You work closely with technical teams, marketing partners and internal stakeholders throughout the entire sales process
  • You prepare and negotiate quotations and manage contract closure
  • Tracking market trends and developments and sharing relevant insights with the appropriate department

Requirements

  • A completed scientific degree in life sciences, biotechnology or comparable training with relevant professional experience
  • First years of working experience in Sales within the biopharmaceutical industry or selling relevant technologies into a parallel industry
  • Experience conducting meetings via Microsoft Teams and other multimedia channels
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication and consulting skills in French and English, German is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A proactive, goal oriented and collaborative working style
  • Willingness to travel about 20% in Central Europe
