About the role
- Advanced Robotic Engineer integrating robotics into bioprocessing and collaborating with partners and teams. Contributing to product development with innovative solutions and software architecture.
Responsibilities
- You develop integration strategies for robotics based on customer requirements and technical specifications
- Developing software architectures for mechatronic systems in robotics applications, including deep learning models, is part of your daily responsibilities
- Together with internal and external partners, you implement software and robotics solutions in bioprocesses
- You capture customer requirements and translate them into robotics solutions
- Selecting suitable contractors, manufacturers and service providers forms the basis for successful collaboration with external partners in robotics and software
- You work in interdisciplinary teams with process experts, enterprise architects, product managers and other team members
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
- More than 5 years of experience integrating robotic systems in laboratory or production environments
- Experience in a GMP environment and the biotech industry is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of SCADA, combined with experience with Siemens, Emerson DeltaV or ABB control systems
- Initial experience integrating AI into products
- Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
