As Global Event Manager, you are responsible for the conception, planning, and execution of large-scale events (up to 800 participants), exclusive customer events, and SAP Fioneer’s presence at external events worldwide. In this role, you act as the central interface between internal stakeholders, external partners, and agencies, ensuring all events are delivered professionally, efficiently, and aligned with our global brand strategy
**Your key responsibilities **
You will manage and execute event strategies across different formats, including the following activities:
**Planning and execution of large-scale events**
Full project ownership for major events, including planning and implementation
Coordination and management of external agencies and internal stakeholders
Development and alignment of event agendas in collaboration with business units
Acquisition and management of customer and external speakers, including briefings and support
Invitation management: preparation of communication materials, briefing of Sales/Business teams, progress tracking, and campaign execution
Partner and sponsorship acquisition in close collaboration with partner management
First point of contact for all internal inquiries regarding the event
On-site operations and logistics: organization of SAP Fioneer presence, coordination of meetings, demos, giveaways, staff briefings, and translation management**
**Organization of exclusive customer events**
Planning and execution of customer days, roadshows and roundtables
Responsibility for invitations, agenda, program and location
Briefing and coordination of all involved SAP Fioneer employees
**Management of participation in third-party events****
Selection of suitable external events and negotiation of sponsorship agreements
Topic placement, content creation, and submission of contributions
Organization of all logistics (e.g., merchandise, booth design and construction)
Briefing and support of participating employees
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in event management, ideally in an international B2B environment
Strong project management skills and organizational talent
Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
Confident in negotiations with agencies and external partners
High level of initiative, resilience, and willingness to travel
Fluent in German and English
