About the role

  • Manage client investment portfolios
  • Portfolio construction
  • Build an asset base / business development
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Align individual client portfolios with model portfolios
  • Monitor individual portfolios and dealing with market movements and research
  • Obtain client instructions with regards to corporate actions, dividends etc.
  • Completion of new client mandates

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the investment management industry (preferably with an established client base)
  • Knowledge and experience in the management of equities, multi-asset class portfolios, portfolio construction and understanding trade-offs in risk and return
  • Post graduate degree (B.Sc., B.Com. or B.Bus.Sc.)
  • Relevant Regulatory exam qualification RE 5 applicable to CAT II
  • Understanding and knowledge of the FAIS Act.
  • Fully bilingual
