About the role
- Manage client investment portfolios
- Portfolio construction
- Build an asset base / business development
- Maintain client relationships
- Align individual client portfolios with model portfolios
- Monitor individual portfolios and dealing with market movements and research
- Obtain client instructions with regards to corporate actions, dividends etc.
- Completion of new client mandates
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the investment management industry (preferably with an established client base)
- Knowledge and experience in the management of equities, multi-asset class portfolios, portfolio construction and understanding trade-offs in risk and return
- Post graduate degree (B.Sc., B.Com. or B.Bus.Sc.)
- Relevant Regulatory exam qualification RE 5 applicable to CAT II
- Understanding and knowledge of the FAIS Act.
- Fully bilingual
