About the role
- Central point of contact for all matters related to the applications within the respective area of responsibility
- Support for the business unit regarding IT infrastructure, architecture, and IT security
- Management and coordination of the interdisciplinary team ensuring availability, resilience, and further development of applications; team composed of internal specialists with various competencies as well as external service providers
- Ensuring the implementation of requirements in the bank's interest within the framework of the IT strategy
- Coordinated prioritization of implementation topics with the business units
- Confident communication at different levels: with stakeholders, within the team, and with management
- Management of contracted providers within the scope of established agreements, monitoring agreed service quality and continuously developing provider relationships in collaboration with central provider management
- Participation in forward-looking projects and active stakeholder management both inside and outside IT
Requirements
- Completed degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics) or completed IT-related vocational training
- Broad knowledge and several years of experience in IT application management or project management in the securities environment
- Solid foundational knowledge in application design, IT security, and regulatory topics
- Experience communicating with various business units and management in day-to-day work – as a sparring partner, strategist, and challenger
- Independent, responsible, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, and very good ability to abstract
- Prior experience in technical/disciplinary team leadership
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary teamwork and technology trends
- Very good German (C1) and English (B2) skills, both written and spoken
