- Plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects in accordance with scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
- Identify project risks and issues, recommend mitigation strategies, and drive timely resolution.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear communication of project status, milestones, risks, and action plans.
- Coordinate resources across engineering, operations, program management, and functional teams to support approved scopes of work.
- Define and manage project statements of work, develop detailed project schedules, and ensure disciplined execution.
- Prepare and present project performance metrics, schedules, risks, and mitigation plans during formal program and leadership reviews.
- Monitor project financials and schedules; prepare reports and dashboards as required.
- Ensure projects comply with internal governance, project management processes, and industry’s best practices.
- Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience in managing programs or parts of a program including successfully managing small groups of engineers under technical guidance.
- Experience preparing and presenting project status, metrics, and risk assessments to leadership.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and execution frameworks.
- Experience supporting engineering or technology development programs.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization.
- Continuous Improvement / Lean experience.
