AP Demand Planner responsible for short/intermediate/long-term demand planning at Rockwell Automation. Collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate supply chain risks and optimize inventory levels.
Responsibilities
Responsible for short/intermediate/long -term (0~24M) demand planning for standard products on monthly basis
Support execution of short-term demand forecast process including evaluating risks of inventory and customer service level
Identify supply gaps through metrics, propose and implement corresponding mitigation plans by working with global planning resources in order to reduce the impact from demand volatility on supply chain
Conduct regular business and performance reviews with stakeholders including demand planning community/BU/Finance/Manufacturing etc
Analyze the metrics miss causal and proactively take corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence
Participating in and support product life cycle management including NPI, phase-out etc
Work with global planning team to achieve the target inventory level
Manage projects with ambiguous situation and develop methods to make judgments independently
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field
3~5 years supply chain working experience especially demand planning area
Proficient skills in Microsoft software (MS Excel, Power BI) and ERP system (APO is desirable)
Independent trouble-shooting skills to identify and investigate root causal
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is preferred.
