About the role

  • Ancillary Product Specialist at Academic HealthPlans focusing on non-student health insurance. Leading client interactions, product training, and documentation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep knowledge of all AHP products, including features, networks, integrations, use cases, and limitations
  • Stay up-to-date with product enhancements and upcoming releases
  • Lead live product demonstrations for prospective and existing clients
  • Consult with clients to understand their unique needs and advise on how best to implement products achieve their goals
  • Provide high-level support in collaboration with Account Executives, and customer success and technical teams
  • Develop communication materials and strategy in collaboration with Marcom
  • Develop training and presentation materials for clients, potential clients and internal resources
  • Partner with vendors and partners to ensure successful delivery of benefits
  • Create and maintain client-facing documentation, including user guides, onboarding materials, and best practice playbooks
  • Develop and support product specific communication strategies in partnership with Marcom
  • Guide clients in aligning their processes with the capabilities of AHP systems using our proven methodologies
  • Help troubleshoot complex scenarios and advise on how to adapt the product to fit specialized use cases
  • Coordinate eligibility needs, file specifications, timing, etc of all feeds with third party vendors for each product
  • Support client and internal partners with review of file specs as needed
  • Support and resolution of any eligibility/file issues between our administration systems and vendors
  • Coordinate with our internal administrative system owners and Executive Steering Committee on prioritization of any system enhancements needed to support products and the return on investment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product enablement, product training role, technical sales, or a related role
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A natural presenter and educator with experience in product demos, training, or consulting environment
  • Strong problem solver with ability to present best practices/solutions
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams including product, sales, and support
  • Strong presentation skills, as well as use of MS Powerpoint, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of SmartSheets and Sharepoint a plus
