About the role

  • Content Manager overseeing digital and social content initiatives for Formula 1 partners. Collaborating closely with clients to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute hero, hub and hygiene content strategies that align with our clients' (brands, teams, or drivers) commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Oversee the content production process. You will brief and collaborate with our production arm to ensure content is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Create and pitch compelling branded content concepts that organically integrate Formula 1 sponsors, ensuring all contractual deliverables are met and maximized.
  • Lead live, reactive, and planned social media activity during intense Grand Prix weekends. Adapt quickly to track action and viral moments.
  • Liaise daily with cross functional departments, and brand partners to build trusted, long-term relationships. You will be a key asset during shoots and ensure all content passes multi-level approval processes.
  • Track content performance across social and digital platforms. Produce comprehensive, data-backed reports to feed measurement frameworks, demonstrate ROI and inform future strategies.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in digital content management, social media strategy, and / or digital production - within a sports marketing agency, motorsport team, or high-profile sports brand.
  • F1 Expertise: A deep understanding of the Formula 1 ecosystem. You’re passionate about the grid, you know technical jargon, you’re across the current meme culture, and how the modern "Drive to Survive" fan consumes the sport.
  • Creative & Technical Skills: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional digital storytelling. While you are primarily a manager, proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop) and an eye for design/editing is a major advantage.
  • Platform Mastery: Expert knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn) and their respective algorithms, trends, and community management tools.
  • Agility under Pressure: The ability to thrive in an unpredictable, high-pressure environment. Formula 1 is unpredictable; you must be able to pivot a content plan instantly.
  • Flexibility & Travel: A willingness to travel globally to select events, sponsor activations, or production shoots. Must be comfortable working non-traditional hours to accommodate global race time zones.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary + performance-based agency bonuses.
  • Unrivalled Access: Genuine integration into Formula 1, working directly with some of the biggest names and brands in the sport.
  • Agency Culture: A dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative hybrid working environment.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Private healthcare, generous annual leave, and dedicated training budget.
