About the role
- Financial Reporting Professional overseeing financial operations and reporting for RHI Magnesita in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Collaborating with shared service centers and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial aspects of the RHI Magnesita entities in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland
- Ensure the timely flow of accurate financial information to the Head of Regional Finance
- Serve as the liaison between the shared service center, corporate and group functions, and external stakeholders
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the annual group statutory reporting packages
- Coordinate with and supervise our shared services center
- Work closely with group auditors and other external parties
- Approve payroll and supplier payments
- Ensure company compliance with RHI Magnesita’s internal control procedures and corporate guidelines
Requirements
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Several years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, preferably in a technology or IT services environment
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IAS/IFRS)
- Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- German – advanced
- English – advanced
- Nice to have: Chartered Accountant certification; experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
