About the role

  • VP of Media at rEvolution driving media vision and strategy for key clients. Leading a high-performing media team in a hybrid role based in Chicago.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve rEvolution’s media vision, capabilities, and workflows.
  • Build, mentor, and resource a high-performing media team.
  • Partner with senior leadership and Business Development on pitches, new business, and agency growth initiatives.
  • Drive omnichannel media strategy across search, social, display, programmatic, CTV, video, DOOH, and emerging platforms.
  • Stay hands-on with planning and activation for a portfolio of clients, reviewing strategies, pressure-testing plans, guiding optimizations, and stepping in directly on complex accounts when needed.
  • Oversee partner evaluation, negotiations, and tactical decision-making to ensure excellence and efficiency.
  • Apply advanced analytics, testing, and measurement frameworks to optimize campaigns.
  • Translate data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations for clients and internal teams.
  • Lead senior-level client conversations, Weekly statues, QBRs, and high-level strategic presentations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through key media decisions and opportunities.
  • Maintain oversight of budgets, scopes, staffing, financial health, and vendor relationships.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities that support client and agency growth.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience guiding, planning and leading media strategy; ideally in an agency setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of management experience
  • Deep knowledge of digital media channels, including but not limited to social, search, display, programmatic, CTV, Video and other emerging channels.
  • A strong understanding of analytics to inform and validate planning and strategy.
  • History of identifying media opportunities, presenting them to clients, and executing.
  • Experience monitoring and recommending improvements to the entire media planning process.
