About the role

  • Design and execute complex data analysis plans, utilizing advanced statistical techniques and tools like SQL, Python, and R.
  • Translate complex data into clear and concise insights, tailored for communication to diverse stakeholders (clients, internal teams).
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, data visualizations, and reporting dashboards for various CRM and loyalty program KPIs using Tableau.
  • Create audience segments for use in A/B testing, marketing campaigns, and reporting Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover opportunities for optimization and growth within client programs, driving measurable improvements in key metrics.
  • Collaborate with client teams and internal departments to define strategic direction based on data-driven recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data analytics, CRM, and loyalty marketing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new data-driven solutions and practices within the agency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or similar role, preferably within a marketing or CRM agency environment.
  • Solid understanding of marketing analytics concepts and metrics, particularly related to CRM, life-cycle marketing, media, and loyalty programs.
  • Proven ability to develop impactful business-focused dashboards and visualizations using Salesforce Tableau.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex data-related challenges.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using Python for data cleansing, normalization, and blending, and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce Tableau Prep and SuperMetrics to perform ETL tasks and blend data from disparate sources into one cohesive data set.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases and proficiency in using SQL to query, join, and manipulate data for analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
