About the role

  • Operations Manager responsible for managing collections activities and a team in Texas locations. Ensures compliance, resolves customer concerns, and implements business strategies for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage collections activities for commercial, industrial and residential customers.
  • Oversee container delivery and pick up in a geographically dispersed area.
  • Manage a team of Operations Supervisors, Dispatchers, Operations Clerks, Drivers and Helpers.
  • Execute local market strategy and implement tactical initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and accident prevention standards.
  • Resolve customer service concerns with customers and government employees.
  • Build and maintain relations with government, community and environmental groups.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience or participation in Republic Services’ management trainee program.
