About the role
- Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer managing OpenShift and data services for Intelligence Community customer. Designing and implementing IT solutions for user facing and data center services.
Responsibilities
- Supports OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps.
- Deploys OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
- Works with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.
- Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
- Supports data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.
- Compiles detailed documentation.
Requirements
- Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5-8 years Developer experience.
- Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.
- US Citizenship Required.
- Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Python, Shell scripting, Git.
- Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS.
- CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins.
- Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.
