- Requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating prices and managing suppliers.
- Ensuring material availability while considering technical requirements, lead times and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyzing procurement markets and monitoring market developments.
- Planning and controlling delivery dates in coordination with internal production control and the control center.
Requirements
- Technical education with further qualification as a technician/engineer or equivalent.
- Knowledge of machining (metal cutting).
- Analytical, structured way of working.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Sense of responsibility and cost awareness.
- High level of initiative and negotiation skills.
- SAP knowledge desirable, especially in PP and MM modules.
- Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken.
