About the role

- Operational purchasing of goods and services, including requirements analysis, supplier selection and price inquiries
- Requesting, evaluating and negotiating prices, terms and delivery dates
- Order processing, order placement and monitoring of schedules, quality and delivery performance (SCEM)
- Tracking and ensuring material availability and proactively resolving deviations
- Complaint management and close collaboration with Quality Assurance, Production and Sales
- Participation in procurement strategy and optimization projects (e.g., supplier development, cost analysis, process improvements)
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field
- Initial professional experience in purchasing desirable — ideally in an industrial environment
- Confident user of MS Office; ERP experience is an advantage
- Confident negotiating presence and strong communication skills in German and English
- Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style
- Team player with enjoyment in collaborating with on-site colleagues
