About the role
- Supplier Quality Manager ensuring supplier quality and performance improvements within an international manufacturer in Augsburg. Collaborating with suppliers and auditing processes to enhance material quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the qualification, development and continuous improvement of supplier quality and performance
- Reduce quality costs within the respective material groups
- Support supplier inquiries/RFx/supplier selection
- Support and develop suppliers on site with respect to various requirements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure and improve quality
- Continuously analyze and optimize internal and external processes
- Help shape supplier management processes, methods and tools
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
- 3–5 years of experience in supplier quality, ideally in mechanical engineering or the automotive industry
- Certified auditor qualification for VDA 6.3 and ISO 9001, and ideally AQAP 2110/2310
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office and familiar with quality planning methods
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
