About the role
- Operativer Einkäufer managing procurement processes for various materials in Augsburg. Collaborating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely and quality procurement.
Responsibilities
- Operational purchasing for selected suppliers and material groups, mainly office equipment, workshop equipment, packaging materials, lifting tools and production aids.
- Handling procurement processes from the inquiry through award decisions and ordering to delivery.
- Monitoring procurement processes to ensure customer requirements regarding quality, cost and delivery deadlines are met.
- Maintaining master data in the ERP system SAP (primarily prices, delivery dates and replenishment lead times).
- Close cooperation with internal departments, suppliers and business partners, particularly for technical clarifications.
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in operational purchasing.
- Good SAP knowledge (MM module) and confident use of common MS Office applications.
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness and strong communication abilities, combined with persuasiveness and a confident, personable manner.
- Structured and independent working style, also when handling unfamiliar tasks.
- High level of commitment and the ability to respond flexibly to changing requirements and priorities.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
