About the role

  • Hotel manager in a senior care facility ensuring excellent service and operational efficiency. Overseeing staff, managing resources, and ensuring high occupancy rates in a caring environment.

Responsibilities

  • Representing the facility internally and externally
  • Developing and structuring the above-mentioned care-related services, with a particular focus on promoting and selling our service offerings
  • Ensuring the facility’s economic operation and regular participation in financial/business performance reviews
  • Personnel management, disciplinary leadership and supervision of all staff
  • Fostering a trusting, professional and respectful environment for staff across all departments, residents, relatives, physicians, cooperation partners, authorities, hospitals, etc.
  • Occupancy and customer management — monitoring and ensuring a high occupancy rate
  • Ensuring consistently high care quality and overseeing nursing and domestic services quality (catering, laundry, cleaning, etc.)
  • Organizing events and activities and ensuring an atmosphere in which our residents and staff feel comfortable
  • Cooperation with MDK (Medical Service of Health Insurance) and residential supervisory authorities, associations and institutions, and private and public payers
  • Determining staffing requirements (staffing ratios) in collaboration with the Head of Nursing and, where necessary, initiating appropriate measures in coordination with recruitment

Requirements

  • Completed training or degree in hotel management (hospitality)
  • Ideally: management experience in hotel operations
  • Strong commercial/business mindset
  • Strong leadership with well-developed interpersonal and social skills
  • Creativity, openness, and strong organizational ability
  • Ability to keep sight of the “big picture” and maintain overview even in stressful situations
  • A friendly and personable demeanor
  • A strong service mindset, customer orientation and sales aptitude
  • Reliability and loyalty
