Responsibilities
Lead, organize and further develop the accounts receivable and accounts payable areas, managing a team of 15 employees
Serve as point of contact and interface for payers (health insurance companies, long-term care insurers, district offices, etc.)
Support the general ledger/accounting team in preparing reports (financial statements, balance sheets, etc.)
Monthly reporting to the executive management
Accounts receivable: ensure timely billing of services and monthly monitoring of open items and valuation positions
Dunning and collections (claims against third parties in the areas of care and service provision)
Account management, invoicing, account coding
Accounts payable: account maintenance, master data, verification, recording, open items management, and payment transactions
Requirements
Several years of professional experience in a leadership role within accounting
Solid expertise in accounts receivable/accounts payable and experience in claims/collections management
Goal-oriented with strong leadership skills and the necessary social competence
Good communication skills, flexibility, accuracy and reliability
Proficiency with DATEV
Experience optimizing work processes
