Responsibilities
- Lead, structure and further develop the accounts receivable/accounts payable areas overseeing 15 employees
- Primary contact and interface for payers (health insurance providers, long-term care insurers, district offices, etc.)
- Support the general ledger accounting in preparing reports (financial statements, balance sheets, etc.)
- Monthly reporting to Executive Management
- Accounts receivable: ensure timely invoicing of services and monthly monitoring of open items (OPOS) and valuation entries
- Collections (claims against third parties for care and service fees)
- Accounts, invoicing, and account coding/posting
- Accounts payable: accounts, master data, verification, entry, open items management, and payment transactions
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in a management role within accounting
- Solid expertise in accounts receivable/accounts payable and experience in receivables management
- Goal-oriented with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills, flexibility, attention to detail and reliability
- Knowledge of DATEV
- Experience in optimizing work processes
