About the role

  • Sales Manager selling event space for a global information provider. Leading a team and managing performance, budget, and operational challenges in Norwalk, CT.

Responsibilities

  • Sell a portfolio of the organization's and/or third-party event/exhibit space
  • Manage a medium-sized team of professional associates or multiple supervisors
  • Develop and adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
  • Receive minimal guidance and set priorities to meet service and operational challenges

Requirements

  • Experience in selling event/exhibit space, sponsorships, and advertisements
  • Ability to manage and be accountable for team performance
  • Strong budget and performance management skills
  • Adaptability in developing departmental plans and addressing operational challenges
