Responsibilities
Install new packaging and processing machinery and perform routine maintenance and on-site repairs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues by applying your expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
Spend approximately 60-80% of your time traveling within the southeast to visit food production facilities, helping customers optimize their equipment.
Train customers in preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly and effectively.
Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a plus.
Customer-focused mindset.
Comfortable with 60-80% travel during the week – mostly on in the southeast by automobile or plane.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills is an added bonus.
