About the role
- Marketing Specialist executing customer and prospect marketing activities for Red Hat in India. Collaborating across teams to deliver marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Red Hat India sales and technical teams to coordinate & execute various customer/prospect marketing activity across the various business units
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns and monitoring
- Support Field Marketing Team in market analysis and research on competitive landscape
- Support the marketing team in daily execution related deliverables
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
- Contribute towards developing and preparation of promotional presentations
- Help in coordinating and distributing marketing materials with agency partners
- Manage and update company databases and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Help organize marketing events
- Coordinate and deploy multiple marketing engines (i.e. online and in-person events, webinars, newsletters, online communities, and product campaigns) for awareness and demand generation campaigns and sales/marketing enablement materials
- Maintain effective communication across the various teams on the status of all work in progress
- Maintain documentation pertaining to the campaign execution
- Work closely with the sales team, Agency Partners, Account Managers and other internal stakeholders on program development and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in marketing/communications or equivalent
- Post graduation in Management preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment with tight time frames
- Proven experience in managing a number of marketing programs and events concurrently is preferred
- Experience in managing vendor and supplier relationships will be beneficial
- Excellent analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
