Responsibilities
Lead campaign marketing strategy for Pink Shirt Day, Mental Health Awareness Week and The Push‑Up Challenge
Drive digital marketing activity, working with internal teams and agencies to deliver high‑performing digital campaigns
Craft clear, compelling messaging that aligns with MHF’s brand and connects with diverse audiences
Develop campaign resources and creative assets with designers and content producers
Coordinate media buying and placement to ensure campaigns reach the right people at the right time
Build strong relationships with partners and communities, ensuring campaigns reflect their needs and perspectives
Evaluate campaign performance, using insights to strengthen future work
Requirements
Several years’ experience in marketing and/or communications
Experience developing and delivering marketing strategies
Strong copywriting and content development skills
Confidence interpreting data and using insights
Strong project‑management experience
Ability to collaborate well across teams and agencies
Existing knowledge of or willingness to grow understanding of Te Ao Māori and Te Reo Māori
Experience in social marketing, NGOs or public sector (desirable)
Previous experience in an ad agency (desirable)
Understanding of public/population health approaches (desirable)
