About the role

  • Sales leader managing a team of Sales Specialists to promote Red Hat’s OpenShift solutions in India. Collaborating with internal teams and partners to drive market growth.

Responsibilities

  • Guide budget and quota setting.
  • Increase sales bookings and revenue by meeting targeted bookings, revenue, profit, and growth goals focused on strategic solutions, accounts, projects, and deals.
  • Build the sales team to work with new and existing customers and partners to drive required pipeline multipliers by product and by region.
  • Drive emerging product forecasting as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews and reporting.
  • Develop comprehensive sales plans and strategies, executing them to expand the business and achieve growth targets.
  • Lead the team, transforming it into a group of skilled Sales Specialists.
  • Serve as a member of the APAC Tech Sales Leadership team to represent your team.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor your team to grow the business, promoting effective sales strategies by following Red Hat’s Core values and Open Management practices.
  • Motivate and inspire your team to take on competitors to expand Red Hat’s market share.
  • Serve as a spokesperson at external events (virtual and in-person).

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in a technology organization.
  • Strong relationship orientation with proven ability to build credibility at all levels within a client organization, including the C-suite.
  • Hire and mentor tech sales professionals across India to lead with mastery in open innovation & culture.
  • Experience in working with sales targets and leading teams to achieve them.
  • Demonstrated ability to use knowledge, processes, and solutions selling strategies and methodologies to meet revenue growth objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (in English), including experience presenting to C-suite executives in large organizations.
  • Excellent focus on the customer and ability to gain access to senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to coach associates in the development of their solutions-selling skills to execute on-account plans.
  • Multicultural awareness and mindset.
  • Willingness to travel and use on-line collaboration tools to build relationships and the business, remotely.
