HR Consultant managing client HR activities, designing and implementing HR processes for small to mid-sized clients. Collaborating to drive meaningful change through people management expertise.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients in their day-to-day HR activities, designing and implementing HR processes as needed. These include, but are not limited to; recruitment, onboarding, compensation planning, performance management, administration and compliance, and employee offboarding.
Independently advise and guide clients in HR best practices that support and reinforce their business change goals.
Advise on and implement HR software solutions to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
Provide clients with HR metrics and reports, offering insights to improve their workforce management.
Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and ensure compliance with company policies.
Contribute to internal projects and the company's HR knowledge base including best practices, templates, and process design.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2 years proven people management experience in a supervisory role.
Experience independently creating and implementing organizational processes and projects from beginning to end.
Previous experience in some or all of the following; recruitment, hiring, off-boarding, performance management, compensation and rewards, employee engagement, and leadership development.
Working knowledge of a P&L is preferred.
Desire to become certified through a recognized HR accreditation provider.
Proficient with Mac OS, MS Office products, Google Drive, Google Apps, and Slack.
Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with three days per week based in Parsippany, NJ.
Benefits
$65,000 - $70,000 / year with additional compensation through performance-based incentives
