About the role
- PR Specialist driving awareness for video game titles at Rebellion. Managing communications strategy while collaborating with internal and external PR teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage Rebellion's communications strategy to generate brand awareness and growth in alignment with company strategic direction and goals.
- Update and deliver various marketing and development information through owned media as well as via external PR agencies and automated systems.
- Manage relationships with all external PR partners, including agencies, distribution partner PR teams and Rebellion’s existing contact database.
- Develop regular interface with other PR practitioners in wider Rebellion business, such as Film/TV, Unplugged & Publishing.
- Continuously look for ways to positively engage and grow Rebellion’s public profile via specialist and lifestyle press activations.
- Create and manage processes to track and keep monitored each communication activation making sure our qualitative and quantitative objectives are always properly met.
- Forge strong and trusted relationships with key press and media within Rebellion’s gaming genres and wider to encourage friendly, constructive interactions.
- Work alongside Product Marketing and Community to ensure PR & Communications initiatives are primed, timed and apt to our audiences.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of current games press and trends.
- Agency management .
- PR administration and excellent written communication skills.
- Previous PR experience in the games industry.
- Tactics to build positive stories and activations with games press.
- Budget management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Can manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines at all levels.
