About the role

  • Broadcast IT Engineer providing technical support for QVC US broadcast IT infrastructure. Leading system setups and overseeing project integrations at West Chester, PA location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd tier technical support for the QVC US broadcast IT systems, including after-hours support
  • Be accountable for equipment specifications, system design, and installation
  • Oversee project integrations and ensure all tasks are completed
  • Test all broadcast IT infrastructure's hardware and software
  • Lead setup and configuration of broadcast IT systems
  • Be a subject matter expert for broadcast IT disaster recovery implementation, and testing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Equivalent work experience in a related field may be considered
  • IT certification recommended (CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, VMWare)
  • 4+ years of experience working in a broadcasting IT multi-tiered environment
  • Experience with Broadcast Television systems administration required, including experience with SMPTE-2110
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or other broadcast line drawing software required
  • Installing, monitoring and troubleshooting computer servers and applications is preferred
  • Experience in Windows Admin, Network Admin, DB Admin and server technologies preferred
