IT Specialist enhancing IT infrastructure and cloud services for mission-driven financial provider PayJoy. Supporting users with technical issues and managing cloud technologies in a hybrid setting.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and SaaS applications
Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Support operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity tools
Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system
Support and maintain cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Slack, etc….);
Manage user access, permissions, and identity services (e.g., Google SSO, IAM)
Assist with cloud-based backups, monitoring, and security best practices
Support SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, etc.
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
Assist with network security controls and access management
Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning)
Maintain accurate asset inventory records and ensure compliance
Coordinate device provisioning, replacements, and returnsSupport onboarding and offboarding processes
Follow IT security policies and best practices
Assist with endpoint protection, patching, and vulnerability remediation (e.g., SentinelOne, Kandji/Iru MDM)Support audits and compliance requirements as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science
3+ years provided support in the form of Linux\Windows\Mac OS architecture
Experience with automation engineering, switches and network technologies
