About the role

  • IT Specialist enhancing IT infrastructure and cloud services for mission-driven financial provider PayJoy. Supporting users with technical issues and managing cloud technologies in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and SaaS applications
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Support operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity tools
  • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system
  • Support and maintain cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Slack, etc….);
  • Manage user access, permissions, and identity services (e.g., Google SSO, IAM)
  • Assist with cloud-based backups, monitoring, and security best practices
  • Support SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, etc.
  • Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
  • Assist with network security controls and access management
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning)
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory records and ensure compliance
  • Coordinate device provisioning, replacements, and returnsSupport onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Follow IT security policies and best practices
  • Assist with endpoint protection, patching, and vulnerability remediation (e.g., SentinelOne, Kandji/Iru MDM)Support audits and compliance requirements as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • 3+ years provided support in the form of Linux\Windows\Mac OS architecture
  • Experience with automation engineering, switches and network technologies
  • SaaS / Cloud experience (Google Workplace / Slack / 1Password / SSO)
  • Strong understanding of system and application integration, as well automation engineering
  • Able to work off hours for maintenance and projects
  • Python or other language at a Novice level or higher
