  • Associate Store Manager focusing on hiring and maintaining talent for Ballard Designs retail expansion. Delivering inspiring shopping experiences while promoting brand standards and values.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on hiring and retaining great talent to deliver an inspiring shopping experience
  • Promote the Ballard Designs brand at every guest encounter
  • Ensure your team exemplifies brand values, standards, and experiences
  • Report to the Store Leader
  • Deliver quality Sales Associate training
  • Provide leadership for sales generation and operational/human resources responsibilities in the store
  • Make plans and improve EBITDA by creating a fantastic place to work and shop
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and build guest loyalty through store programs
  • Recruit and train team members in all open positions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience in specialty retail industry, but not required
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, Workday, Kronos, and POS Systems
  • Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50lbs
