About the role

  • Manager, Accounting overseeing all accounting activities related to the general ledger at QVC Group. Leading a team and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies while supporting audits.

Responsibilities

  • Processing journal entries, review of journal entries
  • Performing account reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accuracy
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Preparing financial reports and supporting internal and external audits
  • Coordinating with QVC Internal Audit and QVC Internal Controls teams for SOX compliance
  • Participating in and supporting audits by preparing documentation
  • Communicating and partnering cross-functionally for project-related accounting treatment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • CPA required
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior supervisory experience required
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and SOX audit
  • Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience preferred
