About the role

  • Marketing Specialist supporting NBA & WNBA marketing initiatives from the Charlotte, NC headquarters. Collaborating on content and strategy for package sales and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of the marketing strategy for the NBA Experiences & WNBA Experiences brands
  • Work with the team to execute each marketing vertical to support the overall strategy including: Email Marketing, Website Content & SEO strategy, Social Media, Affiliate Relationships, Sales Collateral, etc.
  • Coordinate content and marketing needs for successful website and go-to-market launch plans
  • Full capabilities in all marketing technologies (Google Analytics, Salesforce, marketing automation software and others) and pulling/analyzing all necessary information to provide actionable tasks for the company
  • Support external relationships and respective marketing deliverables
  • Collaborate with Creative team on development of digital content
  • Help grow brand awareness and market positioning
  • Manage regular reporting and reviews with the leadership and marketing functional teams
  • Identify new marketing opportunities that support department goals & strategy

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or affiliated specialized area
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with an understanding of digital marketing and content marketing
  • Solid knowledge of online platforms, marketing automation platforms, digital marketing tools, content management systems, and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge and experience working in or around the NBA, its events, and fan culture is preferred
