About the role

  • RPA Specialist leading technical architecture and governance for automation projects at Alpargatas. Collaborate with business areas to map and implement AI-driven process automations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as strategist and Technical Lead, defining the company's automation architecture, managing governance, and leading complex automation projects.
  • Create and foster an automation culture that integrates complex systems and optimizes the use of APIs.
  • Map, design, and implement business process automations using Artificial Intelligence platforms and no-code/low-code tools.
  • Hold meetings with business areas to understand current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform unit and integration tests to ensure software robots operate as expected.
  • Deploy robots to production environments and monitor their performance, addressing any failures.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure robots comply with company policies.
  • Monitor the performance of robots in production and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to the Shared Services Center (SSC) being recognized for service excellence and the positive impact delivered to supported areas.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding needs and ensuring appropriate solutions.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of RPA tools and experience in scripting and programming (Python, C#, JavaScript, VBScript, PowerShell)
  • Proficiency in system integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with tools/platforms such as: Integration Platforms: Azure, Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n
  • Generative AI: LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini), prompt engineering platforms
  • Shared Services automation: RPA, Macros, VBScript, ServiceNow
  • Data visualization: Power BI
  • Microsoft Power Automate
  • Databricks (for monitoring automation results)
  • Education: Degree in Production Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
  • Specialization/certifications in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or Business-Applied Artificial Intelligence
  • Advanced English
  • Comprehensive strategic vision to ensure automations align with long-term objectives and are optimized for resource usage
  • Certifications in an RPA tool (AutomationEdge, UiPath Advanced Developer, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism Developer, etc.)
  • Ability to deliver rapid results on high-impact automations
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of Process Mining and BPM
  • More than 5 years of experience, with a proven track record of delivering business value through automations.
