About the role

  • Technical Project Manager managing development projects in electrolysis for Quest One. Leading teams to meet product goals and ensuring quality, time, and budget compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Overall technical responsibility for development projects in the field of electrolysis systems – from the concept phase to series production readiness
  • Responsibility for technical product and project objectives while ensuring quality, schedule and budget compliance
  • Management of the technical development team and coordination of development partners
  • Development of system architectures and technical concepts for new product generations
  • Support of requirements analysis; ownership of product specifications and test strategies
  • Identification of technical and organizational risks and development of mitigation strategies
  • Presentation of project status, risks and decisions to top management and stakeholders
  • Close collaboration with related areas such as production, procurement, testing and certification

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
  • Several years of experience in the product development of complex plant systems – ideally in hydrogen technology or renewable energies
  • Strong knowledge of the product development process and requirements-based systems development (Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering)
  • Proven experience in technical project management and working with interdisciplinary development teams
  • Leadership skills, interpersonal awareness and sensitivity to team dynamics
  • Confident communication at top-management level and experience in stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of green hydrogen or related technologies such as Power-to-X or fuel cells
  • Ideally experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as IBM DOORS or Polarion
  • Conceptual and strategic thinking, with a structured and analytical way of working.
