- Overall technical responsibility for development projects in the field of electrolysis systems – from the concept phase to series production readiness
- Responsibility for technical product and project objectives while ensuring quality, schedule and budget compliance
- Management of the technical development team and coordination of development partners
- Development of system architectures and technical concepts for new product generations
- Support of requirements analysis; ownership of product specifications and test strategies
- Identification of technical and organizational risks and development of mitigation strategies
- Presentation of project status, risks and decisions to top management and stakeholders
- Close collaboration with related areas such as production, procurement, testing and certification
Requirements
- Completed degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of experience in the product development of complex plant systems – ideally in hydrogen technology or renewable energies
- Strong knowledge of the product development process and requirements-based systems development (Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering)
- Proven experience in technical project management and working with interdisciplinary development teams
- Leadership skills, interpersonal awareness and sensitivity to team dynamics
- Confident communication at top-management level and experience in stakeholder management
- Knowledge of green hydrogen or related technologies such as Power-to-X or fuel cells
- Ideally experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as IBM DOORS or Polarion
- Conceptual and strategic thinking, with a structured and analytical way of working.
