About the role
- Senior Cloud Architect responsible for Microsoft Azure infrastructure optimization at Quest One, contributing to climate protection efforts. Engaging in IT governance and providing user support in Hamburg, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the operation, maintenance, development and optimization of the existing Microsoft Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
- Management of IT infrastructure and influence on overall solutions
- Advising project stakeholders and translating business requirements into cloud and hybrid solutions
- Implementing the associated IT architecture and cloud resources
- Designing governance and monitoring solutions; data storage and infrastructure solutions; identity solutions; and business continuity solutions
- Providing user support for hardware and software environments (business applications and M365 components)
- Installing, configuring and maintaining hardware and software components and delivering sustainable problem resolution
- Managing users in Azure Active Directory (AAD/Entra) and endpoints in Endpoint Manager
- Co-designing and implementing IT service processes
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a relevant industry environment
- Knowledge of general IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, business continuity, governance and data platforms; knowledge of security and disaster recovery is a plus
- Experience and expertise in designing, implementing and administering Microsoft Cloud/Azure infrastructure, architectures and resources
- Scripting skills, preferably in PowerShell, and confident experience with Intune and Entra
- Experience working with Intune, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Experience in IT service management (e.g., ITIL)
- Good command of English and German
