About the role
- Senior Cloud Architect responsible for Azure cloud architecture development for a global leader in PEM electrolysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, further developing and optimizing the Microsoft Azure cloud architecture
- Develop holistic cloud and hybrid architectures
- Advise internal stakeholders on technology selection and integration
- Translate complex business requirements into cloud solutions
- Define and implement governance, security and compliance frameworks
- Design solutions for data management, identity and access control
- Work closely with IT security, network and data architects, and DevOps teams
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Support projects from planning through implementation.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
- Several years of proven experience designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures in complex enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Azure services such as Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Governance and Monitoring
- Solid knowledge of general IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, business continuity and governance
- Experience designing, implementing and administering Microsoft Cloud/Azure infrastructures
- Scripting skills, preferably in PowerShell
- Confident in using Intune and Entra
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Very good German and English language skills
