About the role

  • Business Development Leader responsible for driving growth in Consumer Electronics and High-Speed Data Infrastructure. Engaging with OEMs and developing new business opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Driving AFT business growth in the field of Consumer Electronics and High-Speed Data Infrastructure by engaging with OEM and value chain
  • Identifying new markets
  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Formulating growth plans
  • Closely working with cross-functional teams to facilitate execution, remove barriers and drive results
  • Understand and consolidate Next Gen Consumer Electronics and Data Infrastructure mega trends
  • Incubate new applications and markets with Qnity total solutions
  • Generate value proposition hypotheses and validate with the right partners
  • Assess desirability, feasibility, viability with cross-functional teams and provide recommendations for prioritization and internal resource allocation
  • Enhance growth pipeline with identified opportunities
  • Coordinate sampling and supply based on priorities
  • Drive internal support from cross-functional teams and leadership to improve win-rate at customers
  • Identify business risks such as intensified competitions and design changes, map out mitigation plans and drive actions with support from cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering, Science
  • 3-10 years of CE/telecom related industry experience in field application, technical service, engineering, business development, or product management, etc.
  • Strong team player
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically and logically
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, customer-focused business environment
  • Demonstrate resilience; Open minded and willing to learn
  • Frequent travel to OEM/customer sites domestically and across Asia is needed
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
  • Engagement with Consumer Electronics and/or High Speed Data Infrastructure value chain, preferably with PCB design/fabrication or signal/power integrity related experiences; Working experience in OEMs/ODMs is a plus.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while demonstrating excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills; this person will be expected to build and grow trusted professional relationships with key customers & partners.
  • Deep expertise with new business development, especially with prospecting / developing whitespace business opportunities.
  • Proven track record in driving execution and delivering on business commitments in a professional manner.
  • Proven ability to work as a Self-Starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; this person will be expected to work comfortably with ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to utilize natural intellectual curiosity while driving towards effective execution; a track record of developing creative business solutions is a plus!
