Lead wind origination and development in France for Q ENERGY, covering greenfield and repowering projects through to construction start.
Responsible for strategy, portfolio management, tendering (CPPA, AO CRE), stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
Responsibilities
Propose an origination and development strategy for greenfield and repowering wind projects to the Development Directorate
Monitor, analyze and conduct forward-looking studies and marketing related to the wind market
Engage in lobbying at national, regional, political and association levels, in collaboration with Public Affairs
Propose and implement an organization and resources adapted to the approved strategy, markets and objectives, in line with budgets
Analyze and propose strategies for acquiring external project portfolios
Propose pricing risk‑management strategies (CPPA, AO CRE) and lead bid submissions
Propose, prepare and monitor annual and multi-year budgets for costs and revenues of wind activities from prospecting through the start of construction
Define, propose and track annual objectives and performance indicators for wind development activities
Cascade development objectives to team leaders
Establish and update relevant, necessary and effective procedures to govern wind development activities and translate the company strategy
Propose and actively participate in continuous improvement and business transformation activities
Participate in coordination meetings with all Q ENERGY departments
Lead, monitor and report on the activities in your scope: portfolio evolution, budget, H&S
Provide operational oversight of wind development activities: trade-offs, project strategies, commercial offers, project decision-making, and HR support in coordination with Regional Managers and project teams
Manage the portfolio in coherence with the company’s objectives and strategy
Provide management, support and actions necessary for the professional development of team leaders
Maintain internal communication and reporting, top-down and bottom-up, related to your scope and the company’s overall activity for the attention of teams and management
Requirements
Master’s degree (Bac +5) or equivalent, with recognized expertise in renewable energy development and delivery of ambitious projects
Expert in tender/bid strategy, able to turn an opportunity into a concrete success through an analytical, results-oriented approach
Well-established influencer in the sector, comfortable with institutional representation and building strategic alliances
Experienced project manager, practiced in coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing complex issues in a fast-moving environment
Natural leader, inspiring and unifying, able to mobilize teams around a common vision and support their growth
Advanced risk management skills, with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
Fluent English, essential to operate in an international ecosystem and collaborate with global partners
