Oversee wind energy project strategy and management at Q ENERGY, a major renewable energy player in France. Leading a team to achieve sustainable energy goals with innovative solutions from development to construction.
Responsibilities
Propose an origination and development strategy for greenfield and repowering wind projects to the Development Department
Conduct market monitoring, analysis, prospect studies and related marketing for the wind sector
Engage in lobbying activities at national, regional, political and association levels, in collaboration with Public Affairs
Propose and implement an organization and resources aligned with the approved strategy, markets and objectives, consistent with budgets
Analyze and propose a strategy for acquiring external project portfolios
Propose a price-securing strategy (CPPA, AO CRE) and lead tender submissions
Prepare, propose and monitor annual and multi-year budgets for costs and revenues of wind activity from prospecting to the start of project construction
Develop, propose and monitor annual development targets and performance indicators for wind projects across the company
Cascade development objectives to team leaders
Implement and update relevant, necessary and effective procedures to manage wind development activities and to translate the company’s strategy
Propose and actively participate in continuous improvement and company transformation initiatives
Participate in coordination meetings with all Q ENERGY Departments
Lead, monitor and report on the activity scope under your responsibility: portfolio evolution, budget, H&S
Provide operational oversight of wind development activities: trade-offs, project strategies, commercial offers, project decision-making, HR support in coordination with Regional Managers and project teams
Manage the portfolio in line with company objectives and strategy
Provide management, support and actions required for the personal development of team leaders
Deliver internal communication and reporting, top-down and bottom-up, related to your activity and the company’s overall operations for teams and management
Requirements
Advanced degree (Master’s level / Bac +5) with proven expertise in renewable energy development and in delivering ambitious projects
Expert in tender strategy, able to convert opportunities into concrete wins through an analytical, results-oriented approach
Seasoned sector influencer, comfortable with institutional representation and building strategic alliances
Experienced project manager, skilled at coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing complex issues in a fast-evolving environment
Natural leader, inspiring and unifying, able to mobilize teams around a shared vision and support their growth
Advanced risk management skills with a proactive, solution-focused approach
Fluent English, essential for operating in an international ecosystem and collaborating with global partners
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, ensuring relevant, decision-oriented reporting
