About the role
- Security Police Officer supporting the protection of DOE property and assets with a focus on maintaining a secure environment. Observing incidents and preserving order at assigned client sites in Platteville, CO.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
- Provide security and safety of client property
- Prepare logs and reports daily
- Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives in accordance with company policies
- Conduct continuous foot patrols of the client property and remain visible when not patrolling
- Perform responsibilities as an Alarm System Operator
- Demonstrate a “safety first” commitment
- Maintain the ability to receive communications and respond to emergent situations 24/7

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active DOE “L” Security Clearance required
- Ability to successfully complete an extensive pre-employment medical evaluation, including a strenuous physical agility test
- Ability to successfully complete an extensive training program including non-lethal weapons and firearms qualification (initial and semi-annually)
