About the role
- Java Developer working on Scrum teams to enhance Projektron BCS for customers across Europe. Involves design, development, and support for client-specific requests with a focus on quality.
Responsibilities
- Contribute as a member of one of five excellent Scrum teams to the ongoing development of Projektron BCS
- Develop implementation concepts for extensions and changes in BCS
- Implement the developed concepts in the system
- Participate in bug fixing within the team and help prevent defects through high test coverage
- Support second-level support in resolving customer-specific requests
- Assist with BCS configuration and integration of external systems
Requirements
- Well-completed degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree in a STEM field
- Excellent programming skills in Java and/or TypeScript
- 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Knowledge in at least two of the following areas: database applications, automated testing, web services (preferably REST), web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, etc.), build tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Domain-Driven Design
- Good German language skills (C1 or higher)
