About the role
- Scrum Master leading Agile delivery for multiple Scrum teams on HRIS module projects. Collaborating closely with product owners and technical leads to ensure Agile principles adherence.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospectives.
- Scalable to handle multiple SCRUM teams.
- Manage the engineering development projects and facilitate sprint releases.
- Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates.
- Drive team iteration execution, communicate with management and stakeholders, and protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are evaluated/intentional).
- Able to do post-mortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity.
- Leads team effort in relentless improvement, define and implement improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the program.
- Maintain team data in project management software (i.e. Azure ADO) to support estimates and execution.
- Presents high-level project readouts for senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of project management experience and 2 years leading sprints.
- Experience in executing at least one cloud-based project will be an added advantage.
- Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning.
- Ability to understand and represent both the business and technology.
- Solid experience working with Architecture teams to assess and size story/epics.
- Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with presenting project readouts to the Executive level audience
- Excellent communicator in person, over the phone, and through email.
- Experience in domains like Utilities & Energy, Insurance, Banking, Manufacturing would be an added advantage.
