About the role

  • Scrum Master focusing on cyber security delivery initiatives with Transport for NSW. Supporting agile delivery and facilitating team ceremonies in a governance-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Scrum Master, responsible for supporting agile delivery across a portfolio of cyber security initiatives
  • Translating complex technical work into clear, prioritised backlogs and meaningful delivery metrics
  • Leading planning tasks with product owners, stakeholders, project managers and delivery teams to elicit requirements and delivery priority
  • Managing and facilitating delivery team ceremonies to deliver high quality decision making generated by the team
  • Driving continuous improvement processes and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity
  • Facilitating and driving support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible

Requirements

  • Extensive experience gained as a Scrum Master, supporting technical or cyber security delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Safe) and the ability to tailor them to cyber uplift work
  • Experience working within governance-heavy or highly regulated environments (e.g., audit, risk, compliance, treasury-funded programs etc.)
  • Relevant certifications, e.g., CSM, PSM, Safe Scrum Master, SASM etc. (Preferred but not essential)
  • Familiarity with cyber security domains (not as a practitioner, but as a delivery enabler)
