Responsibilities
Responsible for the technical specification and validation of new charging infrastructures
Develop smart-charging strategies to optimize energy use, costs and fleet availability
Manage technical interfaces between energy management systems, CSMS platforms and charging hardware
Evaluate electrical power and control-system behavior during pilot rollouts
Define standardized methods for efficient implementation and deployment of charging stations
Maintain technical relationships with OEMs and suppliers and assess new technologies
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across electrical systems and their equipment
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Systems
Several years of experience in planning, implementing or operating EV charging infrastructure for fleets, depots or commercial applications
Solid knowledge of electrical systems, including distribution, transformers and high-power protection
Familiarity with EV charging technologies such as EVSE, OCPP 1.6/2.0.1, ISO 15118, IEC 61851 and DC fast-charging processes
Experience in technical validation, pilot testing and commissioning of charging infrastructure
Knowledge of control systems, smart-charging logic, as well as supplier management and technology assessment
Excellent verbal and written communication in a primary national language and good spoken (B2) skills in a second national language
